Irfan Fidan

Irfan Fidan was born in Ordu. He went to Ordu religious vocational high school and graduated in 1980. He worked seven years in Istanbul Courthouse as the Deputy Chief Prosecutor especially working with terror-related crimes. On September 2016, he became the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor with a government decree. Prosecutor Fidan prepared cases against the former prosecutors and the judges of MİT trucks case, Iran-backed Tevhid-Selam network case. He filed a criminal complaint against prominent writer/journalist/editor-in-chief of Cumhuriyet Daily Can Dundar and journalist Erdem Gul for publishing MIT Truck case story in the paper.
